Tentando moldar o texto para caber na qtablewidget coluna

Eu estou trabalhando em uma interface gráfica, usando pyqt e o QTableWidget. Algumas linhas na tabela widget de texto que é muito demorado e eu estive lutando para encontrar uma maneira de definir uma coluna fixa de comprimento para colunas específicas e, em seguida, quebrar o texto para caber que o tamanho da coluna, não importa o comprimento do texto.

Eu procurei por soluções on-line, e quando eu vi um exemplo de endereçamento como um problema eu não era capaz de implementá-lo em minha mesa widget. Eu tinha esperança de que haveria uma tabela de função widget que faz isso, mas não há.

Ajuda com isso seria apreciada.

A 'Descrição' coluna na tabela abaixo deve ser reduzido e o texto feito para moldar e ajustar um tamanho fixo.

Pode ser necessário forçar a tabela widget de redimensionar as linhas de chamada QTableWidget.resizeRowsToContent.

Você pode fazê-lo automaticamente sempre que a coluna foi redimensionado com:

self.tableWidget.horizontalHeader().sectionResized.connect(self.tableWidget.resizeRowsToContents)
